I really loved the drawings and surreal setting a lot as a kid. It was a lot of fun too give this wonderfull story a dark and more surreal twist.

Making of: I rendered all the twirls in 3ds Max. The tin man was made by bits of metal texture photos. The wooden twirls were made by bits of wood texture photos. rest is photomanipulation and a lot of brushwork.
